Terms of service
Last updated 6 October 2026
These terms govern use of Factlore, a web application at factlore.io ("Factlore", "we"). By creating an account or connecting a system, the company you represent (the "customer") agrees to them. If you accept on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
1. The service
Factlore shows a customer's administrators who has access to which systems, why it exists, who is responsible and what evidence supports it. It connects to the customer's systems with the permissions the customer's administrator grants. Every permission Factlore requests today is read-only, and under them Factlore does not change access in those systems. The customer remains responsible for every decision about who has access to what.
2. Accounts and authority
- Only an administrator with authority to grant Factlore read access to a system may connect that system.
- Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You may disconnect a system or revoke Factlore's access at any time in that system's admin console.
3. Customer data
The customer owns its data. Factlore processes it only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. The customer is responsible for having the right to connect its systems and to process the personal data of the people in them, including informing them where the law requires.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use Factlore to break the law, to access systems you are not authorised to access, to probe or disrupt the service, or to resell it without our written agreement.
5. Accuracy
Factlore reports what the connected systems and the customer's uploaded files show. Some access is not visible through a provider's read-only interface, and Factlore says so where it applies. Factlore is an aid to review and does not replace the customer's own judgement or checks. A result that something has been removed is not a guarantee that it has been.
6. Availability and changes
Factlore is provided as is during its early access period, without a service-level commitment. We may change or stop features and will give notice of changes that materially affect customers.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Factlore is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and its total liability for any claim is limited to the amount the customer paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Ending use
Either party may end the agreement at any time. On ending, Factlore stops reading from connected systems and deletes the customer's data as described in the privacy policy.
